Dinosaur Pile Up review at Bestival
October 3, 2015 | By: Leeann Walters
Definitely one of the best bands of the weekend in my opinion as this grunge metal with a slightly punk twist owned the Big Top Stage on Saturday at Bestival festival. This English alternative Rock group got together in 2007 in Leeds and this three piece band are most certainly a force to be reckoned with. These boys captivated the crowd from the moment they began. There is outstanding talent behind this amazing band, the vocalist’s was superb and the coordination of instrumental usage was both unique and impressive for a three piece group. As ‘Dinosaur Pile Up’ was on rather early in the afternoon even though in a tent there was no impressive lighting or light shows, it was all about Dinosaur Pile Up and the raw talent and capability they bring to the stage keeping the crowd ensnared by both the mesmerising vocals and instrumental expertise. The sound was amazing and could be heard clearly from every area of the tent. This band’s crowd participation was amazing and kept everybody drawn to the show. I will most certainly be looking out for the future tour dates ‘Dinosaur Pile Up’ have in motion….
