Boomtown countdown pre-event review

With the time quickly approaching for the momentous 2022’s Boomtown Chapter One -The Gathering the excitement is literally at an all time high. Through the turmoil of the global Covid Pandemic Festivals seemed a thing of the past however after finally coming out at the other side the one and only Boomtown is set to make a huge return with a unique line up along with everything else that makes this festival a one of a kind event. For the first time in Boomtown history the decision has also been made to release the line up exceptionally close to the start date meaning fans and lovers of this festival have all purchased tickets without knowing the musical line up. This in itself speaks volumes about how outstanding Boomtown fair is as everyone can be certain that the music will be as phenomenal as previous years and every day will be fantastic when it comes to a diverse and eclectic mix of music genre’s and amazing acts. With the classic Boomtown settings and layout being reimaged after the pandemic there will be three main sections to the Boomtown world this year consisting of the Main City (previously known as Downtown Boomtown), The Forest’s and the Woodland areas alongside the campsites and main campsite villages.
With this titled as Chapter 1 it is emphasizing that this is a a clean slate and new world. ‘The Gathering’ has particular significance as well as it illustrates the deep part of human connection and celebration that we have always incorporated into everyday socialisation for a millennia. This has recently been stripped from us and outlawed due to Covid making this the long awaited gathering we have all needed and missed by building a Boomtown version of a post pandemic world and exploring what that could mean for our collective ‘new normal’. There will be an overflow of Actors and characters flooding the streets incorporating huge parades with buskers and pop up sound systems to boot on every street corner making this one of the most immersive and inclusive festivals yet sure to make the city vibrate with energy. With eight brand new street festivals for 2022 there will never be a dull moment. With Origin, Botanica, Forest Parties, Copper County ,Area 404, Oldtown, Grand Central, Metropolis and Lets Be Avenue set to be amazing features this year the atmosphere, Theatre, Music and Artists are set to make a tangible impact on the vibrancy and overall experience for every festival goer fortunate enough to be at Boomtown this year.
With just over four weeks to go now Entry tickets are sold out, however you can still sign up to the waiting list found on the official Boomtown website. This is without a doubt set to be the best festival of 2022 and not to be missed. Whether you like DnB, Alternative, Trance or any other music genre there will be an area catered to your tastes. With no shortage of food and entertainment to suit all, fully immersive Actors and Theatre elements throughout and everything you could ever desire at a festival Boomtown Chapter 1 – The Gathering is going to be the event of the year.
