Pete will shave his beard off live on the Acid Reign’s Facebook page tonight if the 2,000 pounds is raised.  With no personal links to the Mind Charity Pete feels that this is an amazing cause to raise money for at this time with many people experiencing mental health problems due to the lockdown or know people who are experiencing difficulties through this turbulent time.  Many people out there will be able to relate to Mind’s essential and amazing work.

With regards to this epic beard Pete himself has stated “I started growing my beard about ten years ago. Now it is about 18 inches long and has become my trademark, so it is going to be really weird getting used to not having it! I’ll Probably grow it back afterwards, but I don’t know if I could get it that long again.  If I do then I might be back in 2030 for another charity shave”

Acid Reign were due to play Bloodstock Festival in August but like all other events this year the Festival has been postponed to 2021.  With this cancellation in place Pete decided that if he can’t play live gigs this year to entertain people then he wanted to do something for Bloodstock’s nominated Charity Mind instead giving breath to this fantastic Charity nominated beard cutting event taking place on tonight.  Please donate generously, we are aware that things are economically difficult at the moment however a lot of people will benefit from Mind’s work in the coming months throughout and after Lockdown.  Lets all get ready to see Pete do this and raise money and awareness for this superb charity! Everyone should also get ready to see Acid Reign again in 2021 at Bloodstock Festival.
