Its very rare to those who listen to a lot of bands weekly to get something that stops them dead in their tracks and take notice uninterrupted. Down the machine might just be that band and one relatively unknown til now

4 piece band Down the Machine hail from the northern heights of Leeds and have recently released the album “Losing Faith” off their own backs. Having all ready made a few in the business stand up these guys seem to have nailed the right balance between creativity, art and balls out dirty rock. With amazing backline, stunning guitars and a singer that could give Scott Weiland a run for the crown of dirty rock and Chris Cornell a sleepless night or two for sheer vocal range!

The album starts with a stadium anthem type tune – Roman Candle and never looks back from there with ‘Everything Im Not’ taking it down a notch to more sexy vibes and then ‘Null and Void’ screaming it back up to epic levels. The only downside to this album is the slight edgyness to the recording quality but overall the album is well polished, tight and just what everyone needs to have in their collection. Mark my words these guys you will hear a lot about in the coming months and will be going big places.

Personal favourites off the album to watch out for “Losing Faith’, ‘Null and Void’, ‘Roman Candle’ and ‘Senseless’ for sheer diversity and talent showcasing.

To rate the album out of ten? id say 8 or 9 would be well deserved for these boys!

New single out on May 4th – Losing Faith get a copy when it hits!
