‘it’s Nothing Personal’ is the latest album from Bury Your Dead, the bands fifth studio album. Following on from the self-titled ‘Bury Your Dead’ release back in 2008. ‘It’s Noting Personal’ is much more melodic than previous albums, featuring cleaner vocals throughout. Still featuring a good balance of heavy breakdowns and riffs, it does however feel somewhat softer than previous albums.

Plenty of the tracks are reminiscent of bands such as Killswitch Engage, this is mainly due to the clean vocal choruses that feature substantially in the latest album. Many longtime Bury Your Dead fans will say this isn’t what it should be, instead a generic and overall disappointing release for a band with such a brutal history when old vocalist Mat Bruso was still with the band. It may be a breath of fresh air for Bury Your Dead, a chance to try a different style. It is however, very much love or hate. [7]
