The album/DVD ‘Kill the House Lights’ was released 29th October and features new and old songs as a celebration of their time with Victory Records. The DVD contains classic footage and unseen interviews with the band and cements a friendship which seems to be blossoming again. There are so many fantastic tracks on this album such as ‘Dead Songs’ and ‘Voices on a string’ with phenomenal tracks mixed in with them such as ‘Signals over the air’ which was recorded live at Starland Ballrooms in 2006. Geoff Rickley and the band have had a decade of hits and successes and there’s no doubt they will continue for another 10 years at least and again no doubt they will continue to produce epic albums the likes of which these 12 tracks have come from. There isn’t a single track on this album that should be skipped, in fact quite the opposite it should be listened to repeatedly. If there is one album to add to your collection in 2008 this is the one without a doubt.
