Chicago’s finest, the Audition are back with their follow up album ‘Champion’ due out at the end of this month. The first track to be released off this is ‘Warm me up’, a pop punk classic and one sure to be a hit. Every track on the album has the potential to be a classic and they are not short of follow up singles for this album. Tracks like ‘Heaven for the Weather’ and Edinboro’ which has a fantastic guitar melody to it and delightful vocals are hits themselves. There are so many different tracks and styles on this album it’s hard to define a single genre or influence here unless you count great as a style and brilliant as a genre. The album contains fantastic harmony and classic guitar riffs and is a delight to listen to. These guys are a dream live and a dream in the studio be sure to catch them in February and March because 2008 is going to be another good year for this band who keep growing and growing, definitely one to watch this year!
