This is the bands first recording since 2005’s Kingswood and their 7th to date. This album screams familiar Millencolin tracks and also some surprises too. ‘Machine 15’ (title track) kicks it off with crunching guitars and genius harmonies. Although this album is classic Millencolin it also shows some diversity in their work with the first single off the album being ‘Detox’ which is infectious to say the least. The catchy beats throughout the album make this an absolute pleasure to listen to and one that fans all over the rock world will love no matter their tastes. With the album being produced again by Lou Giordano (Plain white T’s, Taking Back Sundays, The Atari’s) who has rejoined them after producing ‘Home from Home’ in 2003 this album is crisp and slick. This album is catchy, powerful and enchanting and one to have in any album collection. Watch out for surprise tracks on the album such as ‘Ducks and Drakes’ and ‘Route one’ for surrealism and fun. For fans of good old fashioned well polished rock music.
