EXIT TEN – LIVERPOOL BARFLY – FRIDAY 13TH MARCH 2009
It’s an impressive turn out for tonight’s Exit Ten show at the Liverpool Barfly. With support from Ashes of Illusions & Serenity it look’s to be a promising show all round. First on stage is Serenity. Playing a good set, the crowd responds well and seems to enjoy the band’s presence on stage.
Next on stage is Ashes of Illusions, a five piece metal act from the North West. Chugging through a heavy set, filled with breakdowns & intense riffs, they play extremely well and are certainly a band to watch.
Exit Ten are last on stage. Riding high off the success of ‘Remember The Day’ released back in Summer 2008, ET are back tearing through the UK on a headline tour. Storming onto the stage, they waste no time in launching straight into the set. Playing some of the biggest song’s from ‘Remember The Day’ , including ‘Warriors’ & ‘Resume Ignore’. A clever mix of high vocals & melodies, but with darker rhythms and punchy riffs. It certainly give’s something to separate Exit Ten from the crowd, and not in a bad way. [8]
