The Chemical Brothers Review at Bestival
October 3, 2015 | By: Leeann Dare
Most certainly one of the most highly anticipated acts of the entire festival ‘Chemical Brothers’ did not fail to deliver and produced an outstanding performance. With an exceptional light show coordinated with their musical set the crowd were in awe from the start of the show, with a fair amount of crowd participation from the Chemical Brothers Bestival was given an amazing gig. The sound could be heard clearly all the way from the Main Stage to at least three quarters to the back of the immense crowd that came to see this monumental group. Opening the show with ‘Hey Boy, Hey Girl’ the festival goers immediately went into overpowered excitement as this classic blasted through the air. ‘Chemical Brothers’ played a tangible mix of new and old material to include ‘Block Rockin’ Beats’ and ‘Galvanize’ which I felt was amazing as it had every age group enthralled throughout the entirety of the show reaching people and fans of all ages who had grown with the group. Seeing this group personally for the first time I was blown away by their musical talent and ability to draw the crowd in from start to finish. I for one thoroughly enjoyed the ‘Chemical Brothers’ set and look forward to more performances from this iconic group.
